YWAM Amman has served Jordan and the surrounding countries with training and equipping people for over four decades. From the more traditional neighbourhoods to the modern sky-scrapers of the Boulevard, Amman is the place where the rich history of the Bible meets the international influence of this day. This provides Y Amman with endless opportunities to innovate and connect with people from all backgrounds and in all spheres of society.<\/p>

Over the years YWAM Amman have seen various initiatives to impact the city and equip those who come in short term and long term capacities. We are the home community for many of our teams and we love to function as a united, yet very diverse family where each person, skill, initiative and passion finds a place.<\/p>

Recently we have been working on becoming a training hub to not only impact Amman, but the Middle East, as well. Jordan is one of the few countries in the region that has been able to consistently run training programs and we are excited to see how we can be used to further the work.<\/p>

For the past four decades Y Amman has fruitfully hosted short term teams and volunteers. <\/span>Amman is a rich melting pot of many kinds of refugees and cultures. We offer a rich variety of <\/span>programs to help you serve those communities and achieve an impactful<\/span> and memorable trip.<\/span><\/p>

Whether you know you will be staying to work with us in Jordan or going somewhere else in the region, learning the language is the key to connect with the local community. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Jordan is one of the leading locations in the region for Arabic\u00a0 learning with a big variety of high quality language programs and great language immersion opportunities.<\/span><\/p>

Here in Amman we offer two tracks, supporting those coming to the city to study Arabic; Accelerate and Solid Foundations. <\/span>
<\/span>Both Accelerate and Solid foundations are a language and culture acquisition team with a training track to prepare you for long term work among the people in the region. Participants study Arabic full time but also meet weekly to discover their vision, grow in leadership skills and\u00a0 prepare for transformational work in the community. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
