Discipleship Training School (DTS)<\/h2><\/div>
<\/div>

Where it all starts.<\/strong> A Discipleship Training School is all about learning what it means to be a  disciple of God, hearing his voice, walking out your calling, and using your passions to make a difference. It is a 6-month live-learn program taking place here in the heart of where the Biblical narrative took place. 
<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Just as for any DTS around the world, the first 3 months are what we call our \u201clecture phase\u201d where we focus on knowing God and discovering what it means to be a disciple. It consists of weekly lectures on faith-related topics such as the Character and Nature of God, Hearing God\u2019s Voice,Identity and Lordship. We grow in community, through a live-learn environment, serving one another and those around us. We worship, pray, eat, laugh and learn as we grow together in our faith.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Specific to each DTS are the next 3 months where we are going on cross-cultural outreaches that will focus on serving people.

From running health classes to serving in churches, drinking tea in people’s homes and engaging in community development projects, each DTS serves the nations  through their own unique passions and service.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The God’s Story DTS (GSDTS)<\/strong> is a unique expression of a Discipleship Training School.
It is designed specifically for oral learners and those from non-literate or semi-literate backgrounds, though it has proven impactful for ALL types of learners<\/strong>.
This DTS follows a chronological, story-based format, emphasizing Bible storytelling, group discussion, and immediate application in real-life contexts.

Since it\u2019s launch in 2019, God\u2019s Story DTS has spread across four continents, with more than 20 schools operating worldwide.
Now, we are excited to bring this movement to the Middle East, starting in Jordan. Will you join what God is doing?

If you are thinking about living long term in the Middle East, this is a foundational program for understanding and thriving in the region long term.

The Training for Intercultural Studies (TIS) is a three month school that is focused on equipping you to interact with the local  community. You will learn about language and cultural acquisition, how to work in teams, understanding the culture and worldview of your people group and how to stay healthy, long term on the field. During the school you are immersed in the buzzing city life of Amman and exposed to a variety of ways to serve its people. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

You get to hear from well experienced teachers from the region and apply what you are learning in the moment as well as discovering your vision for the future. If you are interested in long term work in the Middle East \u2013 this is the school for you.

After the TIS you can do a two year internship helping you grow further and applying what you have learnt.

The School of Ministry Development (SOMD) is a three month school focused on growing you in Biblical leadership in a frontier context. You will learn about the culture and worldview of this region of the world while growing in leadership skills, character development and discipleship. We will equip you with tools to empower your unique strengths and giftings and help you gain more clarity in your calling.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

During the school you are immersed in a discipleship-focused community in the heart of Amman. You will be partaking in local ministry as well as having the opportunity to exercise your leadership skills.

After the three month lecture phase we offer a one year internship to help you apply what you have learnt in the school.

Discipleship Bible School is a three-month course centered on studying the Bible and learning about God through His Word. This book is more than just a story; it\u2019s God\u2019s redemptive story of how He has continually brought man back into right relationship with Him. It is a story about a man named Jesus and the redemptive answer that God brought through this man\u2019s incredible ministry. In DBS, you will discover this story that is connected from beginning to end by reading and studying the Bible.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Solid Foundations is a culture and language acquisition program walking you through your first year of Arabic Studies. We believe knowing the language of the people that you love and live amongst is key! Jordan is one of the leading locations in the region for Arabic  learning with a big variety of high quality language programs and great language immersion opportunities.

Solid Foundations (SF) is a group that supports you to develop a healthy, sustainable cross cultural life style while discovering your vision, growing in Godly leadership and engaging in ministry. 

The language learning happens full time at a centre of your choice around the city and as SF you meet weekly to pray, worship, receive input and have accountability. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n


Year two: Accelerate (English)<\/h4><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Accelerate is the continuation of your language and culture acquisition. It’s a team with a training track to prepare you for long term work among the people in the region. 

Participants keep studying Arabic full time but also meet weekly to prepare for transformational work in the community. This includes training on team formation, how to reach locals with life-changing truth, how to impact unengaged cities and see good news planted and multiplying in hearts and homes.
